With an aim to create awareness and provide constructive knowledge on cyber crime and cyber security amongst armed forces officers, A daylong seminar on “Growing Cyber Threats around the world and Preparedness for Bangladesh’’ was held on 4^th August, 2019, Sunday, at General Mustafiz Multipurpose Hall (GMMPH), MIST. The Intelligence Directorate of the Armed Forces Division took the initiative to organize this cyber security conference in collaboration with MIST. The seminar was attended by students and faculty members of MIST and different colleges of the capital along with notable number of high officials from civil and military. Hon’ble state minister of ICT division MoPT&IT, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP and PSO, AFD Lt Gen Md Mahfuzur Rahman, OSP, rcds, afwc, psc, PhD graced the occasion as chief guest and special guest respectively.
