Brigadier General Zaw Mann Phyo, newly appointed Military, Naval and Air Attache of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar made a courtesy ‘Call On’ Principal Staff Officer (PSO) of Bangladesh Armed Forces Division (AFD) Lieutenant General S M Kamrul Hassan on 29 January 2026 at Dhaka Cantonment. During the meeting, they discussed various aspects of bilateral defence cooperation, historical relations between Myanmar and Bangladesh and peaceful repatriation of Rohingya people to Myanmar. The Principal Staff Officer (PSO) conveyed his best wishes to Brigadier General Zaw Mann Phyo for his new role as Military, Naval and Air Attaché to Bangladesh.
