17^th International Military Sports Council (CISM) World Military Golf Championship, scheduled to take place in Dhaka from 27 November to 04 December 2026, has gained a momentum with the handing over of Flag by its President to DG Training, AFD. CISM is the sole organization able to bring together militaries from all nations to share experience in the field of sports, instead of battle field. The motto of CISM is “Friendship through Sport”.

Major Cameron Lowdon, President of the CISM Golf Sport Committee (PCSC Golf), paid an official visit to Bangladesh from 21 to 26 April 2026 and expressed his highest satisfaction on the preparations of Bangladesh Armed Forces.
