Armed Forces Day is observed in Bangladesh on 21 November each year. This signifies the day in 1971, when the members of Army, Navy and Air Force of Bangladesh Liberation war forces were fully operational and launched a coordinated offensive against the Pakistani Army. Each year Armed Forces Division organizes various events to commemorate the day. Each year on this day, Hon’ble President and Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh pays tribute to the martyrs of Bangladesh Armed Forces in the great liberation war.
